Why Dachshund Lovers Are Counting Down Christmas With 24 Dachshund Surprises

Every December, the countdown starts with excitement — but most advent calendars give you something that's gone in minutes.
This one makes every December morning feel different: open one numbered door, discover a new dachshund character, and watch your collection grow day by day until Christmas Eve.
Here's why dachshund lovers are turning the countdown into a tradition worth keeping.
1. Turns 24 Days of Waiting Into 24 Dachshund Surprises
Instead of one disposable treat that disappears after opening, the Dachshund Advent Calendar 2026 gives you a new dachshund surprise behind every numbered door. With 24 PVC figures to discover, each morning adds another character to a collection that grows all the way to Christmas Eve.
“I cannot believe I spent years buying those garbage chocolate calendars. This is what an advent calendar is supposed to be. My daughter squeals every morning when she opens a new door. No more chocolate dust and broken plastic junk — just pure joy.”
Debra K.
2. Builds a Different Dachshund Collection Every Day
Every door reveals a unique dachshund character with its own personality, themed outfit, and expressive pose. From astronauts and musicians to chefs, painters, and holiday-themed pups, every figure brings its own outfit, pose, and personality to the growing collection.
“My dachshund Pretzel is exactly like the cozy bed pup — he refuses to move every morning. I literally cried laughing. These little figures have so much personality.”
Monica R.
3. One Door at a Time Keeps Every Surprise Special
Each numbered door hides one individual surprise, encouraging you to open only the day's door and save the rest for later. That simple one-at-a-time ritual keeps the anticipation building throughout December.
“My husband is 47 years old and woke me up at 6:45 a.m. on a Saturday to open the next door. That says everything.”
Joanna W.
4. Watch Your Christmas Display Grow One Pup at a Time
Every figurine includes a built-in hanging loop, allowing you to hang it directly on the Christmas tree after opening each door. By Christmas Eve, your collection has grown into a festive dachshund display built one day at a time.
“Our tree has never looked this good. People ask where we got the ornaments, and they cannot believe we opened them one per day. It is the coolest holiday tradition we have started.”
Tiffany B.
5. Keep the Collection on Display Beyond the Countdown
Once a pup is revealed, it doesn't have to disappear back into a box. Use its built-in hanging loop to add it to your Christmas tree, wreath, or other holiday décor, turning each day's surprise into part of your growing collection.
“I keep mine on my desk at work. Coworkers come by just to look at them. The astronaut pup is everybody's favorite, and it genuinely makes my day better.”
Carla M.
“These are solid. My four-year-old dropped the soccer player pup on tile floors twice, and there was zero damage. Buy with confidence.”
